Colour Mixing in Nature’s Palette

It is apparently one of the very best years ever for autumn colour and one of the best places to see it is a Sheffield Park Gardens in East Sussex.  So it was that Mr PP and I took ourselves off on a visit to witness this marvellous spectacle.  I’m not going to write about this as really the colours say it all.

Stunning autumn colour at Sheffield Park Gardens

Even the visitors wore jackets to blend in with the background!

The only thing which could have made our visit better was to have had the sun shining!

  1. Just driving around I have noticed how much more intense the colours are this year and as you say when the sun is out it is really beautiful to see. Plus so far we haven’t had a lot of wind to blow them away…yet. Lovely photos Gill. Thanks.
